Bajaj Auto on Tuesday introduced entry-level Pulsar NS125. This segment occupied by mid-level commuter bikes such as Hero Glamour, Honda Shine SP125. The Pulsar NS 125 is not a rival to these bikes, this is going to compete with other sporty bikes such as KTM 125 Duke.

Technical Specifications

The Pulsar NS 125 will be powered by the same 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, powered by a DTS-i fuel engine. The BS 6 engine, attached to a 5-speed gearbox, now claims the engine can now generate 12 PS power and 11 Nm of maximum torque.

Chassis and Suspension

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 uses a rotating frame using a telescopic fork and a mono-shock suspension. It also uses 80 / 100-17 front and 100 / 90-17 rear wheel. NS125 is also 7kg lighter than NS160 at 144kg. NS125 has a ground clearance of 179mm, seat height 805mm, and wheelbase 1353mm.

Safety/Brakes

In terms of the braking system, New Pulsar NS125 comes with a 240mm disc on the front wheel and a 130mm drum on the rear wheel. Unlike the NS160, the NS125 cannot be selected with a rear disc brake.
